Invitation to a meeting about saving the former Bristol Zoo site
Jan 14, 2025
Wednesday 29 Janunary, 2025 — 6:30pm
Hosted by the Save Bristol Gardens Alliance
There’s still time for the former Bristol Zoo Gardens to be saved for all Bristolians, not developed into a private community of luxury flats with its heritage and nature-rich spaces enjoyed only by the wealthy few.
Join our meeting on Wednesday 29 January.
A full Judicial Review is underway after a High Court Judge agreed that every one of our objections to the planning permission (on environmental and other grounds) merited full examination. We expect to be in Court in spring.
Please join us on 29 January at Christ Church Clifton from 7pm-9pm (doors open at 6.30pm) to discuss potential ‘other’ futures for this heritage-rich, natural space at the heart of Bristol. Let’s share ideas, pool resources, galvanise action, and envision a better next chapter for Bristol Zoo Gardens.
Yours,
Alastair Sawday, Bill Ray and Carrie Sage
