Sarah Guppy newly restored memorial in the Lime Walk Clifton

"The magnificent setting of the old St Andrews Churchyard and the Lime Walk
Cemetery Clifton was the setting for the unveiling of the Sarah Guppy
family memorial monument.
A large number of her distant relations and visitors attended on Saturday
25th March 2023.
The Lord Mayor Councillor, Paula O'Rourke, and the Lord-Lieutenant of
Bristol, Peaches Golding, were in attendance along with Sheila Hannon, the guiding
force behind the restoration and organisation of the event.
Chris Curling, the great grandson x 4 of Sarah Guppy and a great grandson x 3 of engineer Thomas R Guppy (GWR, SSGB with Brunel)
As mentioned upon the CHIS Webpages Sarah Guppy was a great female engineer who patented many useful inventions."
