Remembrance Sunday

Nov 12, 2017

On November 12th Clifton Scouts, Guides, Cubs and Beavers were joined by local residents at St Andrew's Churchyard War Memorial to remember those who died during past conflicts.

The moving service was conducted by the Royal British Legion Chaplain, with an introduction by Roger Duddridge. Crosses and wreaths were laid by the children and on behalf of local organisations, including CHIS, whose wreath was presented by Peter Stanley.

The poignant strains of the Last Post were sounded on a 101 year old bugle by David Richardson MBE of Clifton College (pictured above).
